In terms of the result, we’ve already given our verdict on the 54th edition of the Super Bowl which is set to go off in Miami on February 2. Kansas City Chiefs are widely expected to come through as they take on the San Francisco 49ers but if you can’t find any value in the Moneyline odds, there is a host of prop bets lined up.
A Chiefs win could be key to some of the following options, starting with the MVP betting.

The Key Men
In the NFL, we don’t always see markets attached to individual players but the Super Bowl is quite different. The award for Most Valuable Player (MVP) is the pinnacle in terms of performance and there is an active market available.
There are no prizes for guessing who leads the way. Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes may well hold the key to the destiny of the Vince Lombardi Trophy and he can be backed at 1.90 with PowerPlay. QBs tend to dominate this award and at the opposing end of the pitch is the 49ers Jimmy Garoppolo who is available at 3.00 with Sports Interaction to claim the MVP.
It’s generally supposed that a quarterback will win but we only have to go back one year to find an argument against this trend. New England’s wide receiver Julian Edelman was named MVP at Super Bowl 53 and with that in mind, we could look at Kansas City’s outstanding tight end Travis Kelce who is quoted at a generous 17.00 with PowerPlay.
Those three names could also feature in the first touchdown betting but our favourites in this market are more likely to come from other areas of the pitch. Bodog may be the place to go here as they offer first touchdown options for each side. For the Chiefs, running back Damien Williams leads the way at 3.5 while the 49ers main man is Raheem Mostert at 4.00.
Those are sound options but we would prefer to look at the overall touchdown market where both men are listed at odds of 7.5 with 888Sport. With five touchdowns this season, Travis Kelce becomes an option in this market too and he can be claimed at 9.00 with PowerPlay.
There are some tough calls in the player props but one option that we will be confirming is the 4.25 price from Bodog on Damien Williams to score at least two touchdowns.

Across the regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers were among the biggest points scorers in either Conference. It’s widely hoped, therefore, that this will be a high scoring Super Bowl and that we can put to bed the memories of last year’s dire 13-3. As with all NFL games, there are a number of lines drawn for Total Points in the match but to get higher than the 2.00 mark, we have to go above 56.5. That figure is well within the reach of these two attacking sides and it’s available at 2.15 with Bet365.
Other obscure props could take in the odds of 6.00 offered by Sports Interaction on a Safety occurring in the game. In terms of Total Touchdowns, PowerPlay has odds of 2.05 for betting Over the 6.5 line.
There are lots to work through but we’ve settled for our favourite three picks. The bet on Travis Kelce as MVP will involve a smaller stake but his impact this season leads to the potential for a great value.
Betting on the colour of the Gatorade to be poured on the manager, on the length of the national anthem, on bloopers and on the coin-toss are also possible. Many sportsbooks offer these kinds of bets.
- Damien Williams to score at least two touchdowns at 4.25 with Bodog
- Total Points at Over 56.5 at 2.15 with Bet365
- Travis Kelce to win the MVP at 17.00 with PowerPlay
